This month's open nomination areas: Newport, Bridgend and Swansea
Step 1 Businesses Enter Their Area
During the first three weeks of each area’s active month, salons and independent nail artists enter themselves to be included in that month’s Awards.
Once entered, their listing is created and added to the local directory.
Step 2 Community Voting Opens
In the final week of that same month, clients and the local community vote for the businesses they genuinely recommend.
Voting closes at midnight on the last day of the month, and all results are immediately locked for 12 months.
Step 3 Local Results Published
When voting closes, results for each area are finalised and displayed for one year:
1st, 2nd & 3rd Place- Most Recommended
The three businesses with the highest vote counts.
Rankings and vote totals are shown publicly, with optional trophies, medals and certificates available.
Top 10 Community Loved
The ten businesses with the strongest support in their area.
Their vote counts are also displayed, and trophies and certificates are available.
Growing Businesses
All remaining entrants receive a positive profile in the directory.
They appear A–Z without vote counts, along with supportive comments left by voters — recognising them as trusted, growing local favourites.

Best Nail Salon exists to recognise local reputation, not industry politics.
Rankings are determined by public votes from clients and the wider community.
There are no judges, no panels, and no paid placements influencing results.
Each ranking reflects who people actually recommend and return to in their area, measuring community trust and client loyalty.
